A plan of attack

I need to get to work, since I have 3 months to get everything done before my early Christmas present arrives. Newborn in arms, I will have little time to get anything done for a while, so my goal is to be all done with Christmas gifts very early this year. So to help me stay on top of things, I have adjusted my tickers on the right, to track my gift progress.

Here is an itemized list of things I am currently planning to make...
6 pillowcases
5 aprons (one done!)
2 soft dolls
5 jam baskets
1 set of cards
2 sets of dressup items
About 100 Christmas cards (I am not counting these in my totals)
Christmas stockings that I have been trying to make for 5 years...

Somewhere in the middle, I want to make Christmas outfits for my kids. I love surprises, so we are waiting until birth to find out if my daughter is right and she is getting a little sister (since she already HAS a little brother!). However, I would love to have matching outfits for the kids. That means making two dresses and two vests in anticipation of Christmas!

Then there is the list of things I want to make for the new baby...more tiny diapers, coming home outfits, a slip for the christening outfit that I have been planning on making for 2 kids now, a sweater or two out of my stashed wool, a few more girl outfits since if it IS a girl, I don't have much tiny cold weather clothing...

Oh, and I can't forget the clothes for my kiddos...I went thru the clothes that should fit this winter and need to make my daughter a few more long sleeved shirts and a couple dresses. She is my skinny beanpole, so the size 6 dresses that would fit her in length are 2x wider than she is...My son needs a church jacket and a pair or two of play pants.

Good thing I have three months, right?
