Amazing what one can do

with a clean sewing table. Okay, so I didn't really clean, I just re-piled stuff outside. But I did sew! I finished up the shirt (and yeah, it doesn't fit right either) and made the chair cushion for dd's desk chair that has been on the to-do list since last school year. I went stash diving and found some flowered home dec fabric and finally figured out how to make the slip over back part that I have been avoiding. Making the whole thing a double layer worked. It actually was a breeze once I figured out that mental hiccup...it does follow rowena's philosophy of "done is better than perfect",. Perfect it is not, since the fabric is about 2" wider than the foam inside, but it should be functional.
