My oldest informed me that she only wants to wear dresses that I have made, because they are so meaningful. I suppose that would be why I am making her a dress to wear for Christmas at the last minute. Thankfully my husband is off this week, so I will have some uninterrupted sewing time while I am actually awake. I need make sure my middle dd has something that fits for her to wear too, but she won't care if I go buy something!
She is getting an American Girl doll for Christmas, so also in the pipeline is matching nighties, and IF I am lucky, I will have time to make her Felicity's beautiful gown. I have a pile of blue satin scraps from my sister and the pattern from an out of print pattern of the American Girl Company. I keep forgetting to get the rose ribbon I will need for the alternate stomacher, but since I probably won't get to it until after Christmas

Nope. Good thing her birthday is still a good month away. Heck, I'm working on the socks that I was making her for her last birthday still...
